Senior citizens back Sara, Leo as mayor's running mate

THE citywide Federation of Senior Citizens Association expressed support for lawyer Sara Duterte as Mayor Rodrigo Duterte's choice for vice-mayoral running mate in the coming elections.

In a manifesto, the group with an estimated membership of 60,000 out of Davao City's more than 700,000 voting population, said they also "strongly recommend and endorse" Councilor Leonardo Avila III as the alternative running mate of the mayor should Sara decline the nomination.
