Thursday, January 25, 2007 Chamber officers sworn in Friday
DOMINGO T. DUERME, a lawyer who is the senior area vice president for Mindanao sales of the Philippine Airlines, will be sworn into office as new president of the multi-awarded Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. together with 14 other officers and members of the board of trustees during appropriate rites at the Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
No less than PAL President Jaime J. Bautista is expected to grace the occasion.
Other DCCCII officers and trustees to be installed are John Y. Gaisano, chairman of the board; Vicente T. Lao, executive vice president; Samuel D. Labang, VP for industry; Leny V. Castillo, VP for trade and commerce; Antonio T. Dela Cruz, (VP for professional and service ventures; Ferdinand Y. Marañon, VP for agribusiness; lawyer Enrique M.O. Diola, corporate secretary; Nelia E. Tumarao, corporate treasurer; and the trustees Stephen A. Antig, lawyer Bienvenido D. Cariaga, also immediate past president; Andre Joseph T. Fournier, Josefina C. Manaois, Simeon P. Marfori and Myrna P. Valdez.
To add fun and excitement to the 39th installation of the DCCCII board of officers, lots of surprises are in store for the members and guests who will attend the event. In the raffle, the DCCCII will be giving away a round-trip Business Class ticket to Davao-Manila-Hongkong courtesy of Philippine Airlines.
