Policemen aboard the Buhangin Police Station patrol car 25 were alleged to have received an undisclosed amount of money from a gambling operator.

In a news report, the television crew alleged that an operator of cara cruz, what is called in the dialect as "hantak," approached the roving patrol car and gave money to the policemen.

Morente said the Davao City Police Office will not tolerate erring personnel.

He added that he has tasked the Davao City Internal Affairs Services to look into the matter to determine the possible administrative charges to be filed against the policemen.

The Investigation and Detection Division, under Superintendent Joseph Sepulchre, also vowed to conduct its own investigation and determine the criminal offenses of the policemen.

Criminal charges are yet to be filed in court.
