Crucial basketball, volleyball matches up in Prissa meet

HIGHLY-touted Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) lady spikers will test the mettle of Jose Maria College (JMC) at 1 p.m. as the Davao City Private Schools Athletic Association (DC-Prisaa) Meet resumes Saturday at the University of Mindanao (UM) Matina gym.

The next game will pit Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) against the University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) at 2 p.m.

In the men's event, HCDC will clash against UIC in bracket A at 3 p.m. while UM takes on Brokenshire College in bracket B of the Davao Amateur Volleyball Association (Dava)-sanctioned tournament.

In basketball, the UM women's squad will collide with Barangay 76-A in the PSC Women's Open at 9 a.m.

Defending champion Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) will play against AdDU in the other women's cage match at 10 a.m.

The men's games will have the Agro-Industrial Foundation College (AIFC) Sailors against UIC at 1 p.m. followed by the match-up between RMC Bulldogs and the DMMA College of Southern Philippines (DCSP) at 2:30 p.m.

The main match will feature Pahalipay ni Mayor Rody Duterte Inter-Collegiate champion UM Wildcats against Mats College of Technology. (MLSA)
