SL bets grab lead in Inday Sara bowlfest

THE SL Bowlers struck for a total of 2,382 pinfalls to snatch the lead after four games in the 1st Atty. Inday Sarah Z. Duterte Cup Open Bowling Tournament at the Dover Mega Lanes Thursday night.

Early leader Vincent Bowlers dropped to the second spot, with 2,327 pinfalls, while RA came in close third after hitting 2,304 pinfalls in the Sunday Bowlers Club-organized meet that stakes a total cash prize of P23,000.

Occupying fourth place is Edjo team that rolled 2,274 pins followed by LMBS with 2,271 in fifth, Victors 2,206 sixth, TDK 2,202 seventh, NAMIT 2,195 eighth, Bravorm Engineering 2,145 ninth and Warriors with 2,135 for the 10th spot.

Another two games will be played on Tuesday.

The Sarah Duterte Cup serves as part of Davao bowlers' preparation for the National Fedbop Open Bowling Championships in April where the host city will defend its women's title.

Meanwhile, the SBC Bowler of the Week will resume on Sunday at the Fairlanes Bowling Center where cash prizes await the champions in class A, B, C and ladies divisions. (MLSA)
