"We will again launch a new product next month," de Quiros said, adding that in the industry, it is essential to come up with something new for the clients.

Ayala Plans Inc. has launched its MyDollarFund Builder, a US dollar-denominated plan intended for the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and businessmen with natural source of dollar.

It is also beneficial to those who want to save in dollars.

De Quiros said that with the introduction of the new product service, the industry is expecting to grow by as much as 30 percent this year.

"Malaki ang target namin, we are expecting a 30 percent growth," he said.

He added that guaranteed benefits will also be extended to the clients depending on the performance of the company.

"There will be possible bonuses, but we still don't want to highlight that," he said.

"The product is a good opportunity because you can start with a small amount (US$80). We are not asking people to convert their peso to dollar, the product is designed to keep their savings in dollars," he added.

At present, only Ayala Plans is offering a US dollar-denominated plan.
