City hosts construction show on March 1-3

DAVAO City, which is becoming a favorite venue for national exhibitions, is again chosen to host a building and construction show slated on March 1 to 3 at SM Entertainment Plaza.

The Konkordans, an event management company, announced that its company, in coordination with Global Link, a Manila-based event management team, will initiate the building and construction show following the success of the Davao Travel Show at the same venue.

The company also revealed that a manufacturing technology show at the Davao Convention Center will be held on the same date.

Davao City recently hosted a big international travel event over the weekend at the SM Entertainment Plaza.

More than 100 exhibitors participated in the event that intends to showcase various tourism products of the participants.

Marco Polo Davao, one of the biggest hotels in the city, also participated in the show. Its sales promotion director, Art Boncato, said that Davao City has been regarded as an emerging tourist destination in Mindanao.

Boncato believes that organizing more events would mean bringing more people to Davao.

He also said strategies should be made this year to improve the business condition in the city. (JGRS)
