THE Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the University of Mindanao will hold another job exposition in Davao City on April 11 to 13 at UM Bolton Gym.
The expo aims to gather more than 60 companies and employment agencies all over the country and more than 3,000 job seekers all over the region.
This year it also aims to invite HR representatives from some of the top 500 corporations in the Philippines and screen and hire Davao Region's highly qualified human resources.
Series of Pre-Employment Seminar for Local Applicants (Pesla) will be given to interested job seekers by UM.
The seminar aims to prepare potential applicants in their job application and interview, which will be conducted by resource persons from the industry and DOLE.
This is the fourth time that UM and Dole joined together for a job expo. Every year the activity has solicited more than 2,500 job vacancies and has placed at least 1,700 applicants.
Interested companies and employment agencies may call the UM external relations office at 227-5456 or Dole at 226-2481.
