This was learned after independent senatorial candidate Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan flew in Thursday for his regionwide sortie, making a special visit to Quiboloy to seek the pastor's endorsement and the solid vote of the members of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ the Name Above Every Name all over the country.
Quiboloy has become among the religious leaders popular among politicians who want the solid vote of his congregation all over the Philippines.
The pastor said Pangilinan is a good choice but has not committed to endorsing the senatorial candidate.
He added that the primary consideration for him is the candidate's track record.
"We have to look at the extent of what they have done for the Filipino people," Quiboloy said.
Moreover, Quiboloy told Sun.Star Davao that almost all of the senatorial candidates, administration, opposition, and independents, have sought his endorsement.
But aside from Pangilinan, it was only senatorial aspirant Francis Escudero whom the pastor mentioned as a good choice.
The pastor hopes that the Filipino people this time will be more discerning come election day.
"Let us all be mature this time, as our immaturity is what brought us to where we are now," he said.
The congregation commands more than three million votes nationwide.
