Davao rules lawn tennis

ILOILO CITY--Davao Region men's team emerged champion in men's lawn tennis to capture four gold medals in the National Prisaa Games 2007 here Wednesday.

Davao's Mark Anthony Alcoseba, Armando Palac and brothers Jesse Sil and John Rex Limbo combined forces to oust Region 7 netters Oswaldo Oumoran, Jedree Tan and Gerry Huyoa.

The latter annexed the silver while Region 6 and Caraga teams took home bronzes.

Region 6 was composed of Francis Abalayan, Prenan Alisen, Zachary Gonzales and Paquito Ataal while Caraga was bannered by Heherson Buque, Juv Alban, Sherman Liquido and Marlowe Lustre.

The women's team gold went to Region 7 while the silver was won by Region 6. Region 3 and Region 12 each got a bronze. (MLSA)
