20 companies join IT exhibit at NCCC By Joy Romares-Sevilla
TWENTY exhibitors are participating in the biggest Information Technology (IT) exhibition at the NCCC Mall of Davao, which started Monday and will be concluded on Thursday.
The activity, dubbed as the "IT Davao Business Exhibition 07," was organized by the D' Ultimate Events Conceptualization & Management.

The exhibit aims to provide the public the opportunity to see, witness, and evaluate the latest trends, products, and development on information technology.
Among the participating companies in the exhibit are PLDT, U-Bix, APM, Bayantel, Mutoh, Philcopy, Emcor Arts, Canon, TeleEye, Multi-Colors, 3M, Tekpone, Globelines Broadband, Genesys, Samsung, GH Office Depot, TM Globe, Foxchit, KSCI Mktg., and the Paper Tree.
In Monday's opening ceremony, Councilor Peter Laviña, chair of the Trade and Commerce and Industry, said the activity is a big boost to the city, which is considered as an ICT hub in the region.
"We hope that activities like this can contribute to attract more businessmen," he said.
Laviña hopes the exhibitors will meet its target, in terms of product promotion and sales.
Meanwhile, three exhibitors were awarded to have the best booth during the ceremony.
Emcor ATS was awarded third place, Genesys grabbed the second place, and Samsung booth was adjudged the best among 20 participants. Each winner received a plaque and a PLDT DSL package.
