Free RRD clinic

THE 2007 RRD Clinic resumes on Monday at the University of Southeastern Philippines-Obrero campus.

The clinic, to be handled by the Duterte Agilas with former PBA player Cadel Mosqueda as clinic director, will be for young kids from villages 4-A, 17-B, 18-B and 20-B. Mosqueda's assistant is Alberto Malinao.

Boys and girls will be taught how to properly handle the ball, shoot it and play offense and defense for two days.

"We will teach them the basics of the sport and tell them why sports should be enjoyed this summer," said Mosqueda, who last suited up for Purefoods in the pro league.

City Sports Coordinator Christopher "Bong" Go said that the clinic, initiated by Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, is conducted to give the youth an avenue to engage in sports at an early age.
