By Joy Romares-Sevilla

"We will be sending people to China this June for the food and wine exhibit to be held in that country. We will also have trade missions to Canada and to Palau," Duerme said.

Aside from trade missions, Duerme said DCCCII has also lined up several activities for the year, including the Davao Trade Exhibit to be held in October.

"This involves exhibit of different industries," Duerme said adding that the Chamber will be inviting investors from China and Korea to put up shops in Davao.

Also, DCCCII supports the 6th Mindanao Information and Communications Technology (MICT) in October and is also preparing for the Davao City Business Conference where visitors from Malaysia will be invited to take up several discussions for possible trade assistance.

"The event was also created to help finance the small and medium enterprises (SMEs), more on the micro group," Duerme said.

DCCCII also organized the Recyclable Collection Event on June 30. The activity aims to promote the economic benefits of recycling and make money out of the recyclable materials.
