Wednesday, June 13, 2007 Mindanaoan among topnotchers in board exams for dentists
AMONG the topnotchers in the recently concluded 2007 Dental Board Examinations is petite Mindanaoan lass, Karla Patricia Buenaventura Camello, a 2007 alumna of the University of the Philippines College of Dentistry, Manila, where she was a college scholar.
This year's winsome 9th placer is a proud graduate of the Ateneo de Davao High School Class of 1999 and the Notre Dame of Cotabato grade school class of 1995.
She is among the 264 out of 802 examinees who successfully hurdled both the theoretical and practical components of the highly competitive government licensure test for doctors of dentistry.
Karla is the eldest daughter of Court of Appeals Justice Edgardo A. Camello and Ms Mary Anne Buenaventura of Cotabato and Davao cities. The new dentist will take her professional oath before the Board of Dentistry on July 9, 2007 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel, Manila.
