Avisado said the mayor has already requested preparations to be made for his oath-taking, details of which will be worked on by Human Resource and Management Officer Marcelino Escalada Jr.
Escalada said the mayor wants to keep the ceremony simple and solemn.
Duterte, however, did not say what time and where the oath-taking ceremony will be.
"Most probably still at the stairs of the City Hall as Duterte wants it (oath-taking) to be open to the public," Escalada said.
Both Avisado and Escalada, however, said they are not privy to whether vice mayor-elect Sara Z. Duterte will have her oath-taking together with her father or with the incoming council members.
