TO FURTHER cater to students, home, the small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and offices, the Epson Philippines Corporation -- the company that produces the leading brand in digital image solutions -- launched yesterday two products that could transform the battlefield of print technology.
Epson tied-up with the movie "Transformer" in order for the two products namely: Epson Stylus C90 and the Epson Stylus CX5500 to draw impact and to be recognized easily in the market.
Jay Rañola, product manager of the Epson's Consumer Division, said they believe that movie reviews could help a lot in marketing the products.
Rañola said with the introduction of the two new printing machines, people can have a lot of benefits and savings since the products have special features which other brand of printers do not have. The products set them apart from ordinary printers.
Epson Stylus C90 and the Epson Stylus CX5500 are single-function machine and multi-function machine, respectively that allow users the option of using inks which cost as low as P295, while providing them with quality printouts that remain resistant to fading, smudging, and water spillage for up to 20 years.
"The C90 is best for students for home use because it is affordable, while the CX5500 is best for SMEs and offices since it has a multi-function, it can print, copy, and scan too," Rañola said.
Epson Stylus C90 costs P2,495, while the Epson Stylus CX5500 was pegged at P4,495.
Rañola said that the Epson key technology benefits would include the no compromising in quality with improvement in speed, the products can also determine how small or big the amount of ink, it is also quick drying, it would give you no worries when the black ink runs out for the last minute of urgent print because it can create a composite black out of magenta, cyan, and yellow colors, and the products can print 25 pages per minute, CX5500 also features a four-seconds copying.
