DAVAO City vice mayor-elect Sara Z. Duterte and the elected and reelected councilors will take their oath of office on June 30, 10 a.m., at the City Council Session Hall.
This will follow Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte's oath-taking at the City Hall steps earlier in the morning.
Both ceremonies will be simple as the mayor and the incoming 15th council members want the public to be comfortable with attending or looking in on the event.
According to reelected Councilor Peter Laviña, Judge Manolo Carpio will possibly officiate the ceremony though it has not been confirmed by the council secretariat which is meeting as of this writing.
It is also not yet clear who will be officiating the mayor's oath taking.
