MOVE aside German Shepherds, Labradors and other imported breed of bomb-sniffing dogs because the Philippine askals are here.
Askals, short for asong kalye (street dogs), or mongrels, are now being trained to become specialized bomb-sniffing dogs that would eventually replace all these very expensive breed of dogs.

Banana growers not satisfied with court injunction
AS EXPECTED, the Pilipino Banana Growers and Exporters Association (PBGEA) will not stop at just getting the writ of preliminary injunction, which will put on hold the implementation of the aerial spraying ban Saturday for three months. Instead, they are out to prove that the ban is unconstitutional and, thus, cannot be implemented.
