THE City Council approved a resolution on Tuesday declaring Barangay Tamugan in Marilog district in a state of calamity after it was reported that at least 60 families were affected by landslides in the area since last month.
Proposed by Councilor Diosdado Angelo Mahipus, the move is in response to the resolution and letter request of the Barangay Council of Tamugan sent to the Office of the City Mayor, which was forwarded to the council for proper action.
