THE father-and-daughter tandem of Robert and Erich Holzchen took the first and second spots, respectively, at the close of the 70th Araw ng Barangay Maa table tennis tournament.
The Holzchens, who hail from Germany, also have a house in Maa.
The pair received cash prizes and trophies along with other winners Lito Palicte and Jessie Siason.
Palicte was third while Siason placed fourth in the competition sponsored by Barangay Maa headed by Barangay Captain Loreto Laud Jr. and supported by city councilor and Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (Tatap) Regional Director Peter Laviña.
It was held in coordination with the Metro Davao Table Tennis Association (Medatta). (MLSA)
