SIX games will be featured including two championship matches as the Ateneo de Davao Alumni Basketball Tournament resumes Sunday at the Ateneo High sports complex.
The 8 a.m. curtain raiser will be the battle for third place while the juniors’ titular clash will follow at 9:30 a.m.
The seniors’ finals encounter set at 11 a.m. will be the main match in the Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP)-sanctioned meet that will give away cash prizes and trophies to the winners.
Organizers from Batch 1982, meanwhile, are planning to hold a second basketball conference.
Tournament director Ferdie Tabaco said they will also hold a women's volleyball tournament and open badminton competition prior to the grand homecoming celebration in December.
The badminton event, to be headed by Bombi Gempesaw, will open in September. It will have men's and women's doubles categories. (MLSA)
