Construction workers rush work on drainage culverts along the highway in Bangkal as heavy rainfall at night continue to flood Davao City streets. One consolation for residents is that the floodwaters recede after a few hours. It's still a miserable night though when you are caught in the flood. (Sun.Star Davao/Seth delos Reyes) HE GOT a reprieve when the City Prosecutor's Office dismissed the criminal charges file against him by his former girlfriend who accused him of slapping and threatening her. Fresh new charges were filed against him recently, however, by his wife for violation of the law on violence against women and children. His wife is also a police officer.
