Marco Polo Rewards, better known as MPR, is a special reward program only offered to Marco Polo Davao's corporate bookers. It is the hotel's way of rewarding its customers for their commitment and loyal support.

With this program, MPR members can earn award points with every materialized room or banquet booking into any Marco Polo hotel in Asia.

This year, the hotel upgraded the program with new value-added benefits, free hotel accommodations, dining vouchers, more choices of merchandise and gift certificates from SM Supermalls, NCCC Mall, and Chimes.

The event, dubbed as The Vegas Night, followed the theme of casinos and night variety shows. At the center of the registration area and greeting guests is a roulette, setting the mood of the casino as guests entered the Ballroom.

The cocktail was at Ballroom 1, adorned with an array of delicacies and treats to delight everyone.

Ballrooms 2 & 3 were separated by a black curtain. At the opening beat of the song "Lady Marmalade" from Moulin Rouge, the curtain unveiled the stunning setup and stage in the two ballrooms.

Emcee Bong Aportadera's high energy and gaiety broke the ice as guests took their seats. He called on general manager Stanley Lau for his opening speech and director of sales and marketing Art Boncato to introduce members of his team.

Soon after, the floor was given to Reservations Manager and MPR Ambassadress Pamela Villegas for the presentation of the new MPR schemes.

Known singer and songwriter Wency Cornejo, came centerstage as he belted out three of his famous songs. His happy disposition and performance level definitely won the crowd.

The big surprise of the show was then revealed: The Sales and Marketing dance number. The team, led by Mr. Boncato, gamely danced to the beat of "Kembot", to everyone's delight.

At the end of the show, guests crowded in the middle just as balloons were dropped from the ceiling. All rushed to pop the balloons to get the coupons inside which correspond to room and dining gift certificates. Special giveaways were also distributed to everyone.

The night ended in high spirits and guests went home eager to join the Rewards program. Evidently, the Marco Polo Rewards is one of the grandest rewards program in the country and the launch was just a kick off of the many more surprises the members can all look forward to.
