Police: Mulcting barker lied about ‘kotong’ cops

THE jeepney barker who was arrested for extorting from jeepney drivers was bluffing when he said he had protectors among the policemen assigned at the Mobile Patrol Group of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO).

DCPO Director Jaime Morente on Friday said the investigation he ordered right after extortion suspect Billy Ubay claimed his police connections, showed Ubay was lying as the investigation failed to dig up any involvement of the police.
