Brit tops Lanemasters

BRITISH Thomas Convoy topped the Lanemaster July Monthly Finals to pocket the P5,000 cash prize, at the NCCC Mall B3 Center recently.

Convoy, who also received a trophy for the highest singles, bested Danny Usman, Ian Ancheta and Ronald Marti who placed second, third and fourth, respectively.

Usman received P3,000 cash while Ancheta got P1,000. They also received trophies from organizer Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba).

Top qualifier Mike Guerra also received a trophy.

Meanwhile, Art Galendez made 1,197 pinfalls in six games to rule the Lanemaster weekly event held Tuesday night.

Manny Nierra placed second with 1,139 while Cris Alfas was third with 1,135, Manny Siongco (1,134) fourth, Usman (1,134) fifth and Ancheta (1,115) sixth. (MLSA)
