ANOTHER Regional Trial Court judge tendered his irrevocable resignation as presiding judge of Branch 10 of the Regional Trial Court 11 due to ailment problem.
In a letter to RTC 11 Executive Judge Isaac G. Robillo, Branch 10 Clerk of Court Theresa Montaña-Baluyot requested that their branch be exempted from being included in the raffling of cases, following the resignation of Branch 10 presiding judge Jaime V. Quitain.
The letter also said Quitain resigned as presiding judge upon his physician's advice and also with the concurrence of "his brothers, his children, and his wife."
Quitain was also quoted in the letter as saying he had a heart ailment history and that he was diabetic and wanted to live a longer life and spend it with his grandchildren.
In his resignation, he asked his branch to advise the court and cancel all cases with Branch 11 Judge Virginia Hofileña-Europa.
