CMMA bets top Grappling Cup

THE Cenojas Mixed Martial Arts (CMMA) topped the Vice Mayor Inday Sara Duterte's Grappling Cup after hauling a total of 11 gold medals, three silvers, and five bronzes at the Evergold Regreation Center in Bo. Obrero St. over the weekend.

The Mats team placed second with four golds, nine silvers, and seven bronzes while the MJC took the third spot after salvaging one gold, two silvers, and one bronze.

Kidapawan took one gold and one silver in fourth place followed by 0-2-1 Mandirigma in fifth and 0-0-1 Aikicom in sixth.

CMMA's Joel Bitacura topped the junior men's 55-kilogram event over Mats' Joem Gasulas and Masters Judo Club's Jessie Laganse who placed second and third, respectively.

Paolo Molina gave CMMA another gold in the junior 60-kg event as teammate Rodrigo Napalit Jr. took the silver and Mats' Dennis Noe Pregon settled for the bronze.

CMMA's other gold medallists were Delfin Moreno Jr. (senior 66 kg.), Jemery Quinonero (60-kg), Mars Cenojas (73-kg), Marco Cenojas (81-kg), Daniel Bartolo (kids boys 7-8 open weight), Mike Lim (9-10 open weight), Ethan Maslog (11-12 open weight), Marc Lim (10-12 open weight), Adam Ravanes (1-14) and Chrismari Jann Cenojas (kids girls 7-13).
