THE much awaited 2007 bar examinations have been slated in September this year. Various organizations in Davao City's most prestigious law school have been preparing for the strenuous month ahead.
Different subjects of the Bar exams are taken every Saturday of the month at the De La Salle University in Metro Manila. Barristers, or the bar examinees are made to stay in Metro Manila for the entire duration of the bar exams.
The Fraternal Order of Saint Thomas More, an organization at the Ateneo de
Davao University College of Law, will be hosting its 20th Tostar, a bottom's up and drink all-you-can fund raising party.
Slated Saturday at Matina Town Square. Tostar is an annual event of the Fraternal Order of Saint Thomas More, or Tau Mu, to raise funds for its barristers.
The party starts at 8 p.m., with tickets available at the gate for only P200. The funds raised in the event would be used to help the barristers in their expenses during the bar exams.
