TOYOTA Philippines, producer of quality cars for Asian satisfaction, unveiled on Friday the all-new Vios at its office in Lanang, Davao City.
"The launching of the Vios is simultaneously done all over the country. In Davao, this is the second generation model of the Vios," Joseph Elmer S. Magaway, assistant general manager of Toyota-Davao, told Sun.Star.
Magaway said the All New Vios is the most selling luxury car in the US today, but it comes very cheap.
"We target to sell 20 to 30 units per month," he said.
Magaway said the Vios is designed with beauty, comfort, pleasures, safety, performance, and enhancements.
The new products features a front bumper with fog lamps, a multi-reflector headlamps, a front grille with chrome, side view mirror turning lamps, with 15-inch alloy wheels, with rear combination lamps, and rear reflectors.
It is also designed with comfort having enlarged trunk capacity, leather seats, armrest with built-in cup holder and middle console multi-purpose storage pocket, storage pockets and hooks, a flat passenger floor, rear seats center armrest and cup holder, and a fold-down rear seats.
The Vios is uniquely designed with pleasures as its steering wheel has a stereo command, an optitron meters, a multi information display, an auto sound leveling stereo, a metallic instrument panel, power windows with jam protection, and a remote key with theft alarm.
Designed with safety, a person can have a feeling of protection as Vios features an anti-lock braking system and an electronic brake force distribution, it has a brake assist and a disc brake, a global outstanding assessment (GOA) protection, an impact absorbing body, and a dual supplementary restraint system (SRS) airbags.
As to performance, the Vios is easy to maneuver since it is made with technology that boosts a person's confidence and gives him a freedom to move.
Vios is also designed with enhancements.
Different accessories can suit a person's taste, he can choose the fittings that will improve the form and function of the Vios.
Magaway revealed that Toyota Philippines has a total market share of 40 percent.
"We acquire the 40 percent market share because we offer the best and the quality cars," he said.
