25 exhibitors confirm participation in expo

A TOTAL of 25 exhibitors, including those from the United States, have confirmed participation in the upcoming Davao Trade Expo 2007 slated next month at NCCC Mall in Davao City, to showcase their products and services.

The exhibitors, according to Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (DCCCII), that have confirmed participation as of August 23, are the US Commercial Service, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Department of Agriculture (DA), Landbank, Mana Davao, Macondray, the Propel, Sagrex, Fuji, the First Phil. Scales, Pitrade, Tele-eye, Hubport, San Miguel Foods, San Miguel Corp., Mag-Agri, Gercon, Citibank, Uraya, Harbest, Ubix, the Seaquest Trading, Coca-Cola, Manila Copier, and the Lane Systems.

Updates on the Kadayawan Festival 2007

The exhibit, which will run from October 25 to 27, will showcase agro chemical manufacturers and suppliers, agro equipment distributors, animal health technology suppliers, commercial and rural banks, consultancy firms, electronics, and embassies and foreign aid agencies.

The event will also provide a venue to showcase products and services offered by financial institutions; fruits, vegetables, and livestock operators; information and communication technology; local franchises and processing firms; local government units; real estate developers, and tourism institutions.

DCCCII executive director Conrado Hernaez said Wednesday that the Davao Trade Expo, which is on its 9th year, wants to bring in key players of the business sector to invest in Davao City, the gateway to South Philippines and the BIMP-Eaga.
