Digos fight next for Ali
By Charles Raymond A. Maxey

ALI Brashary Cali of Davao City will have his second fight as a professional on September 22 in Digos City.

Ron Doran, Cali's American manager, said they are now finalizing details of the fight card, which will have four pro bouts and six amateur matches.

"We are going to give you details of the card soon," Doran told Sun.Star Davao.

Cali won his first professional fight against Richard Donaire via unanimous decision in the Philippine-Japan Boxing Match last August 25 at the Mall of Asia.

Cali suffered a cut in the head during the fight, but dominated Donaire in the four-round encounter to the delight of the crowd.

Doran brought Cali to Cebu and the young Davao boxer was taken in by well-known boxing patron Rex "Wakee" Salud.

The 16-year-old Cali is a former outstanding amateur boxer and 2004 national amateur flyweight champion.
