THE 5th Gaisano South (GS) Cup resumes with two matches Thursday at the GS Citimall SkyGym.
The Davao Central High takes on St. Peter's College in junior's division 2 at 5:45 p.m. while Holy Child clashes against Ateneo de Davao High at 7 p.m. in the junior's division 1.
On Sunday's matches, the Assumption College of Davao (ACD) beat Davao Wisdom Academy (DWA), 95-78, in junior's division 2, while Stella Maris Academy downed Davao Central College (DCC), 59-54, and Holy Child School of Davao routed St. Peter's College of Toril, 77-60, in the cadet's division.
The Holy Cross of Davao thrashed UCCP Pag-Asa School, 76-31, in the mini event of the region's longest running youth cagefest sanctioned by the Basketball Association of the Philippines-Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (BAP-SBP) under regional director Regino "Boy" Cua.
In juniors division 1, the Jose Maria College resurrected with a 76-65 win over Davao City National High School (DCNHS) to grab its first win in three games.
The Southern Philippines Polytechnic College handed Agro-Industrial Foundation College its third straight loss, 78-70. (MLSA)
