A TOTAL cash prize of P36,000 will up for grabs in the National Table Tennis Team Championship set Saturday and Sunday at the Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) Gym.
The men's team champion will receive P15,000 while the runner-up will get P10,000 and the third placer will go home with P5,000.
A cash prize of P3,000 awaits the women's single titlist while P2,000 and P1,000 will go to the second and third placers, respectively.
Bacolod, Cebu, Manila, Pagadian, General Santos and Cagayan de Oro teams are out to give homegrown bets a run for their money.
Trophies will also be awarded to all team and individual winners of the two-day competition sanctioned by the Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (Tatap) Region 11 under City Councilor Peter Laviña.
