Somber weather to last until weekend: bureau
By Carlo P. Mallo

WITH barely two months before the Christmas season, Dabawenyos are already starting to feel the cool December breeze.

The somber weather experienced by Southern Mindanao Wednesday was, however, brought about by a low pressure area located 360 kilometers east of Visayas.

The low pressure area dragged along the southwest monsoon that caused partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers in Davao City Wednesday.

Reports from the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the somber weather experienced in Davao City may last until the weekend. Isolated rain showers and thunderstorms would also be prevalent throughout the city especially during late afternoon to early evening.

Light to moderate winds will be blowing from the eastern part of the city. The seas will range from slight to moderate.

Temperature in the city is pegged at a low of 24 degrees Celsius and will peak at 33 degrees Celsius until the weekend.
