Holy Cross plays SPC

HOLY Cross of Davao College (HCDC) lady spikers will test the mettle of San Pedro College (SPC) when they play against each other at 1 p.m. in the semi-finals of the DACS Meet Volleyball Tournament at the Brokenshire College compound on Saturday.

HCDC, coached by veteran Exequiel "Iking" Tomines, topped the women's A group with a clean four-win, no-loss record while SPC entered the semis with a 3-1 card in women's B.

Women's A No. 2 Cor Jesu College of Digos will battle women's A No. 1 Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) at p.m. in another semis encounter.

CJC had a 3-1 mark while AdDU toted a 4-0 clean slate in the meet sanctioned by the Davao Amateur Volleyball Association (Dava).

In the men's side, Group A No. 1 University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) will face Group B No. 2

Philippine Women's College (PWC) at 3 p.m. followed by the match between Group A second-ranked AdDU and Group B first-ranked HCDC at 4 p.m.

UIC finished the elimination round with 5-0 record while AdDU tallied 4-1. HCDC also got a clean 5-0 record while PWC with 4-1. (MLSA)
