"We have invited cyber athletes from Tagum, Panabo, Cagayan de Oro, Marbel and other nearby cities and provinces to join the one-day event," Lapid said.

Lapid said there will be a series of tournaments online where online characters' costumes will be donned by local ramp models for a costume show and free play, among other side events.

Lester Avila of E-Squared said registration will start at 10 a.m. and will close at 12 noon.

"The opening ceremonies will start right after the closing of registration. The local Runaway Band will perform to be followed by a video presentation on the past E-games held in other parts of the country like the one held recently in Manila," Avila said.

E-game items and game load are up for grabs in the competition. (MLSA)
