PING Efondo recovered from his first game loss to beat Vic Osing in their SBC Bowler of the Month Class A finals match at the Fairlanes Bowling Center Sunday night.
Osing settled for the runner-up honors while Vic Nugas came third in the event organized by the Sunday Bowlers Club.
Bernard Alcoriza came back strong in the second game to avenge his first game defeat to Nonoy Lacuesta, who landed at the second spot. James Morales placed third.
It only took Boy Abinon one game to capture the class C title over Rain Lacuesta who was second. The third place went to Ralph Guttierez.
SBC president Emie Orteza said the 2007 Oktoberfest Open Bowling Tournament will roll off on Thursday at Fairlanes.
Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded to the winners in the division A for government, non-government and private organization teams and division B for commercial entries. (MLSA)
