IT IS not only Myanmar who needs to be told to respect human rights, but President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, as well.
This was the remark of Councilor Bonifacio Militar, the City Council floor leader, after Councilor Leonardo R. Avila III proposed a resolution supporting the Asean's and United Nation's call for Myanmar to respect human rights, free Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi and all political detainees, and move towards democracy.
