The suspects were caught selling two motorcycles, believed to be stolen, to one of the businessmen in Datu Paglas town.

The vehicles, both XRM Honda motorcycles, were owned by Alejandro Bravotilde of Bukidnon and Romeo Tiomale of Barangay Camamanan, Cagayan de Oro City. They were identified based on the documents that police recovered from the suspects.

Mayor Paglas said the arrest came after a tip from one of his contacts.

This was the second apprehension of suspected carnappers made by Datu Paglas police and the local government unit since last week.

On Friday, they arrested John Rey Ilido of Isulan, Sultan Kudarat accused of carting away a motorcycle in Datu Paglas. They also collared on that day a certain Samir Gulam whom they accused of buying stolen motorcycles. (Malu Cadelina Manar)
