Calida tops Daciba tilt

LARRY Lao-Lao and Nonoy Calida cornered the class A and B division titles, respectively, in the just-concluded Daciba Monthly Tournament at the Mega Dover Lanes.

Lao-Lao hit a total of 285 pinfalls in two games to beat James Bardon who rolled 259 pins.

Updates on the Kadayawan Festival 2007

Calida struck for 302 pinfalls over Bardon's 229.

In class C, Catalino "Onyot" Morales emerged champion with 285 pinfalls while Peter Morales was second with 225.

The ladies title went to Susan Laud who amassed 235 pinfalls while Baby Plata settled for the runner-up spot.

The weekly tournament will resume this week. (MLSA)
