Colegio de San Ignacio bags badminton crown

THE Colegio de San Ignacio and Immanuel School of Davao reaped gold medals in the just-concluded Private Schools Association of Administrators (Prisaad) badminton tournament at the Rematch Badminton Court.

Colegio shocked defending champion Southpoint School, 2-0, in the girls' doubles finals. The latter instead settled for silver while the International Christian School of Davao took the bronze.

Updates on the Kadayawan Festival 2007

In boys' doubles event, Immanuel School defeated Colegio de San Ignacio for the gold. Colegio got the silver and the bronze went to Southpoint.

Colegio, however, was declared overall champion in the tournament that attracted a total of eight private schools.

The Prisaad Meet also featured basketball, volleyball, chess and table tennis, among other sports. (MLSA)
