Fairlanes bowlers lead Oktoberfest

THE Fairlanes Bowlers struck for a total of 1,115 pinfalls after two games to lead division A of the Annual Oktoberfest Open Bowling Tournament 2007 at the Fairlanes Bowling Center Thursday night.

Reygie's PJAC took the second spot by rolling 1,104 pins while Davao City Water District (DCWD) was third with 1,076 in the division for private companies, government and non-government agencies.

The Petronas came fourth with 1,057 followed by SJC House of Chandeliers (1,055) in fifth, Merco (1,053) sixth, Davao Auto Club A (1,036) seventh, DBA Bowlers (1,024) eighth and Davao Auto Club B (955) ninth.

In division B, Brillian Pawnshop amassed 1,180 pinfalls for the No. 1 position while B&L Daciba placed second with 1,155, Namit Bowlers was third with 1,149.

Trailing behind were D' N3Pids Reloaded (1,146), SBC Chiefs-1 (1,136), Top Shots (1,125), Bravorm Engineering (1,108), Leomar Bowlers (1,094), Rosy Cheeks (1,075), SBC Chiefs 2 (1,075) and Gian's Rule (1,044).

Over P40,000 total cash prize is at stake in the bowlfest organized by Fairlanes management in coordination with the Sunday Bowlers Club. (MLSA)
