Fernandez triumphs

LAWYER Marc Fernandez bagged two titles in two Datba-organized tournaments at the NCCC Mall B3 Center Saturday.

Fernandez made 837 pinfalls to emerge champion in the Datba Tenpin Weekly Tournament then he struck for 1,101 pinfalls to rule the Lanemaster event.

Fernandez beat Edmund Cambaliza who settled for second after hitting 772 pinfalls in the weekly competition. Tess Galendez came third with 768.

In the Lanemaster competition, Fernandez prevailed over Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba) president Billy Magdale, lawyer Boy Resonar and Cambaliza.

Magdale amassed 1,018 pinfalls while Resonar had 1,012 and Cambaliza with 999.

Lanemaster games will resume tonight. (MLSA)
