Chief Superintendent Andres Caro II, PRO-Southern Mindanao Director, said Thursday they are in the final stages of the security preparations for the two-day events.
"We expect a convergence of the people on those two days, that's why we have to prepare for such," Caro said. The police chief also said the main focus would be on providing security and the facilitation of traffic.
More police personnel would be deployed in both the public and private cemeteries all through out the Southern Mindanao region.
Caro said the same things -- liquor, sharp objects, and gambling -- would still be prohibited in cemeteries. (CPM)
