Body found near cemetery

ANOTHER dead man was found beside a cemetery at Baliok, Talomo district, Davao City Sunday dawn.

Police authorities still have not identified the cadaver having found no identity papers or marks on the man.

SPO3 Policarpo Ballenas, investigator of the Talomo police, described the victim as having long hair, 5'3" in height, wearing a white shirt and maong pants, and earrings on both ears. The body bore three gunshot wounds.

The victim was found at around 2 a.m. of October 14 beside the Toril Memorial Park at Baliok in Talomo district.

"Naagian ni og duha ka mga batan-on nga taga-Rosalina. Kining victim naa'y tulo ka gunshot wounds sa (Two youths from Rosalina Village were the ones who saw the body)," PO3 Rios of the Talomo police said in an interview.

Authorities believe the victim was still alive when he was brought at the cemetery since nearby residents claimed hearing gunshots earlier in the night.

Rios also said they have found one slug of .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene.
