City Prosecutor Jose Garcia recommended the filing of charges based on the complaint filed by Esperidion Camagong Algobre, operation manager of Ana's Breeders farm.
In an affidavit, Camagong claimed he has been employed with the company for 15 years.
He said that in July 2007, he noticed the their production had reduced, prompting him to conduct surveillance on their workers. It was then that he discovered that a total of 1,000 heads were stolen every week.
He claimed that he sought for police assistance on October 12.
When police conducted a surprised inspection, they saw the three suspects standing besides a building, possessing a box containing 250 heads of one-day-old chicks.
The suspects attempted to escape but were cornered by the policemen, leading to their arrest and the filing of the case.
Garcia recommended a bailbond of P30,000 for each of the respondent's temporary liberty.
