Based on initial investigation conducted by Police Officer 1 Virgilio Arrubio of the Sta. Ana police station, suspects robbed at least P52,000 cash from the steel cabinet by destroying its built-in padlock.
The suspects also got a caliber .38 gun issued to
Jeffrey Bosque of Femjeg Security Agency, the security guard deployed at the shop. The gun was placed inside the drawer of a table.
Alma Gacale and Luz Martin, employees of the shop, discovered broken glass fragments at the entrance, believed to be where the suspect gained entry.
It was not revealed whether there was a guard on duty when the incident occurred. Police are still conducting further investigation to determine the suspects behind the robbery. (RCO)
