Wednesday, November 14, 2007 Computer expert to teach locals 'software magic'
COMPUTER users in Davao can make their computer software perform like magic, an amazing capability that will give them a leading edge in all what they do.
They will be taught how to do it - for free- by a world authority on Java Script and Adobe Acrobat programs -Thom Parker. The international expert from the USA works with the development of Adobe Systems products as well as having his own software development company.
The knowledge-sharing is scheduled on Friday November 16 at 3:00 pm at Felis Seminar Resort at Matina Aplaya in Davao City.
"You have a once in as life time opportunity to be shown things about your computer software that will amaze and excite you," said one of the seminar organizers.
Through the connections of International author on computer software, Ted Padova, Thom is coming to Davao to share his wealth of knowledge with Dabawenyo computer users, the organizer added.
Parker is the founder and CEO of WindJack Solutions, Inc., a software development company with the corporate office in Portland Oregon, USA. He has a broad engineering and programming background including over 20 years developing software in a variety of languages for companies such as Intel Corporation. WindJack Solutions' specialty is Acrobat® JavaScript and PDF development, and Thom is actively involved in the Acrobat PDF community. In addition to developing innovative commercial tools for Acrobat® developers and users (PDF CanOpener, AcroButtons, and AcroDialogs), Thom hosts the JavaScrit Corner at www.acrobatusers.com where he writes articles/ and tutorials on Acrobat® JavaScript and maintains a Blog.
