"Really!" exclaimed Annika, suitably impressed that she was paired up with Liv. "Yes, I write down all my good scores and scratch out the bad ones!" (hahaha!)
I think that was so funny! And do you know what is much funnier than that--I know for a fact that some golfers in Davao write down all the bad scores and scratch out the good ones. (hahaha!) Oh you guilty people, I bet reading this statement put a smile on your face, huh.
I bet you have a collection of un-submitted scorecards in your ball bags. Throw them out! Ball bags are meant to keep balls and tees, not scorecards!
November is tournament month! Every weekend, there is a scheduled tournament. The courses are busy, the clubhouse restaurants are making money, finally! And the caddies, what can I say, they are very pleased that they are earning very well.
I have missed so many matches since I am still away. But I will be back. Can't wait to play with the use of caddies, because here in Florida, I am my own caddy!
I'd like to thank Philip and Renegade of Palos Verdes for providing me with information about golf events, and to Jojo of Hotel Galleria for emailing me details on golf tournaments and winners.
The registration for the Durian Tee Golf Tournament at Apo Golf & Country Club is now going on. The format is Stableford, and each competitor gets to play for two days-36 holes. The hole-in-one prize is a brand new Mitsubishi Fusion GLX.
The 1st Francisco S. Dizon Charity Golf Tournament held at the Rancho Palos Verdes was a success. As you know, the proceeds of the tournament will help charitable institutions such as the Missionary Sisters of Charity, Bahay Pasilungan, Maharlika Charity Foundation and the Davao Medical Center. We look forward to next year's tournament. Here is the list of winners.
Congratulations!

Golf Fact: Jack Nicklaus was known for always teeing his ball up higher than most pros. When asked why, the Golden Bear replied, "Through years of experience, I have found that air offers less resistance than dirt." (Hahaha! I agree with him totally!)
