Girl, 13, accuses pal of raping her

A 13-YEAR-old girl sought for the assistance of the Digos City Women and Children Protection Desk after she accused her friend of raping her on Monday afternoon.

Marie (name withheld for being a minor), a first year high school student at the Digos City National High School, accused her friend Abdulah (real name withheld for being a minor), 16, of raping her after she got drunk and fell asleep.

According to the victim, the two of them had a few drinks at around 1 p.m. on Monday after they were sent home early after officials found two improvised explosive devices inside the school.

The victim said she woke up at around 7 p.m. of the same day but was wearing different clothes.

Digos City Police Office Director Caezar Cabuhat said the victim lost consciousness.

"Titingnan natin ngayon kung may inihalo doon sa inumin niya," Cabuhat said. (We will see if something was mixed in her drink.)

The victim also told police that the suspect slapped her on the face twice, kissed her, and forced her to drink a beverage that made her fall asleep.
Police are preparing appropriate charges against the suspect. (Dondon Dinoy)
